Weddings

I followed my father into photography – he worked as a full-time photographic journalist and much of the skill needed to capture the emotion, excitement, nerves, laughter and fun on a wedding day, I picked up from him.

The challenge for me each time I work with a wedding couple is to get the best from them, their family and their friends. I’ve spent years mastering the skill of capturing the natural un-staged image of people relaxing and enjoying themselves, and it’s something that I’d never be able to give up. And today, while photography is still my first love, I have other passions as well. Being from Cheshire it’s easy for me to be an ‘outdoors’ person, and I’m never too far from a long walk in the countryside. I also love cooking, eating carrot cake, and spending time with my friends and family.
Read my regularly updated blog on Contemporary Wedding Photography which could offer some useful and practical advice for anyone thinking about using a photographer for their ‘big day’, follow my tweets on Twitter, and check out some more of my work on Flickr by clicking here.
